thermal deburring process

Thermal Deburring

Our thermal deburring process gives us the ability to remove various different size burr's in even the most hard to reach places.  During the thermal deburr process a controlled mixture of natural gas and oxygen is mixed under compression and ignited.  The controlled blast flashes over the parts removing any loose material or burrs attached to the part.  The blast is so short that no dimensional changes will incur to the work piece.   Burr's can be removed even in areas that traditional deburring method's can not reach.  No tool marks will be left behind and all burrs will be removed.  The main advantage to thermal deburring is the uniformity of burr removal from part to part throughout the order.

We have implemented a number of different thermal deburring techniques depending on customer requirements and or preferences.  We have the ability to process small parts, bulk to remain most efficient and cost effective.  However we also have the ability to make custom fixtures to ensure there is no part to part contact during the thermal deburr process.
